Very popular and a good pub menu.

An excellent restaurant owned by an award-winning chef.

The Metropole

A very large Victorian hotel in Llandrindod Wells, built when this area was thriving, and still serving good food in the bar or restaurant.

Sugar and Spice

Also in Llandrindod, a good café serving light lunches, sandwiches and tapas.

The Felin Fach Griffin

A wonderful pub, this side of Brecon, with a fabulous menu and great atmosphere.

Hay on Wye

This beautiful market town has a varied and delicious selection of restaurants and cafes – of particular note is Richard Booth’s Bookshop, not just an emporium of new and used books, but also a very good café and cinema! Shepherd’s sells mouth-watering ice-cream made from sheep’s milk but also a selection of light meals. There are plenty of other eating places in the town to tempt you.
